Opal + Oat — Integrated Branding

This project focused on developing integrated branding for a fictional brand, including a logo, color palette, textures, and audience-focused applications, with an emphasis on innovation and cohesive design.

For this project, I created branding for Opal + Oat, a fictional soap boutique in La Jolla, CA focused on sustainability, guilt-free luxury, and self-care. After initial research and a vision board, I developed a visual identity with two logo variations: one versatile and one more organic, paired with a nature-inspired color palette and the tagline “guilt-free self-care.”

Deliverables included a business card and letterhead, three soap packaging designs, a luxe branded bag, and mirror cards with uplifting messages tied to each scent. These elements aimed to enhance the customer experience while reinforcing the brand’s values of mindfulness, love, and eco-conscious living.

Though fictional, this project reflects my passion for thoughtful, purpose-driven design. I loved bringing Opal + Oat to life and expressing a brand story centered around sustainability and self-love.

Additionally, this project received a Silver ADDY Award in 2025 from the American Advertising Federation of West Michigan for Integrated Branding in the student section.
