Expressive Manifesto Project

In ARTS 255: Graphic Design Process I was assigned to create multiple expressive compositions using the "First Things First Manifesto 2000". Each of these compositions is composed of only typography and includes every part/paragraph of the "First Things First Manifesto 2000". My goal when working on these compositions was to demonstrate texture and depth in a way that I haven't before and to mimic the chaotic nature of how I was feeling when given this project. When it comes to my design preferences, I often prefer simplistic, satisfying, in-the-box solutions but this project pushed me to explore solutions outside of my comfort zone and play with the possibilities of type. While this project wasn't the most enjoyable, I'm thankful that it gave me the space necessary to explore uncomfortable solutions and push my boundaries as a designer.
