A brand summary and social analysis, social media strategy plan, and executive summary created for the Calvin University Communication Department as part of an Independent Study

One of the most important skills I gained from my Independent Study was strategically and professionally writing a brand summary, social media analysis, strategy plan, and executive summary. With guidance from my advisor, I wrote a brand summary for the Calvin University Communication Department and then conducted a social media audit as well. After, I took the insights I gained and created a social media strategy plan that included SMART objectives, target audience information, and a "Big Idea" to guide the next steps of the department's social media. With this information, I created a content calendar for each month of my independent study that laid out what content would be posted each day/week and at what time. At the end of the semester, I created an executive summary that gave a brief overview of my social media work and noted results based on the department's social media analytics.
